Providing high-quality care is a long-standing priority for essential hospitals, which work daily to reduce harm and improve outcomes and patient experience. For example, our hospitals have seen patient satisfaction, as measured by the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems, rise since 2010 and they match or outperform other hospitals nationally for treating heart failure and heart attacks (see graphic below).1
