The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its website with the latest information to help slow the spread of antibiotic resistance (AR). The revised site reflects new information, partner feedback, and industry best practices.

A new factsheet outlines how CDC’s AR Laboratory Network successfully empowers the nation to detect and respond rapidly to AR threats by building lab and testing capacity. The site also includes a factsheet describing innovative investments to respond to AR globally and a discussion between CDC and AR experts on addressing AR after COVID-19.

The AR site still includes CDC’s 2019 AR Threats Report with the latest national death and infection estimates that illustrate the continued threat of AR in the United States.
