As of mid-March, several states have cut back on daily reporting of COVID-19 cases. Throughout the public health emergency, states have reported case and hospitalization numbers daily through state websites.
Eight states — Arizona, Hawaii, Kentucky, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, and South Carolina — and the District of Columbia now will report their COVID-19 data on a weekly basis, while Wyoming will report data twice a week. North Dakota transitioned to reporting COVID-19 data once a week and also limited the available information, no longer including deaths, active cases, or infections within nursing homes.
