The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has launched a national campaign to encourage health care professionals, patients, and caregivers to recognize the signs of sepsis and act quickly when an infection is detected.
CDC’s partner toolkit for the campaign, Get Ahead of Sepsis, includes:
- educational materials, such as fact sheets and brochures; and
- a video public service announcement and an educational video; and
- social media tools, including a Twibbon and website or blog buttons.
CDC also will host a webinar on Sept. 6 at 1:30 pm ET and a Twitter chat using #SepsisChat on Sept. 12 at noon ET.
