A new online training resource released by Patient Priorities Care and the American College of Physicians aims to help clinicians identify treatment options according to what matters most to patients.
The training includes three no-cost modules:
- Helping Your Patients Identify their Health Priorities, targeted to any member of the health care team;
- Introduction to Patient Priorities–Aligned Decision Making, targeted to physicians; and
- Common Challenges in Patient Priorities–Aligned Decision Making, also targeted to physicians.
The modules are intended to prepare clinicians to identify patient’s health priorities and address challenges and strategies for implementing the selected approach.
