Emergency care providers can learn more about identifying and treating Zika virus during a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) call on Nov. 1, from 2–3 pm ET.
The Clinician Outreach and Communication Activity (COCA) call aims to educate providers about:
- Zika screening protocols;
- Zika-related nursing assessment and clinical interventions;
- reporting processes for Zika cases; and
- patient education and discharge instructions for patients who are at risk for or are diagnosed with Zika.
