Administration Launches Cybersecurity Resources Website

The administration has created a new website, StopRansomware.gov, as part of its commitment to strengthening cybersecurity across all federal agencies.

In its announcement promoting the website, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency states the site aims to help entities understand the threat of ransomware, mitigate risk, and learn how to respond to a ransomware attack.

The website is intended to serve as a centralized repository for public and private stakeholders; it includes resources, reports, and alerts related to ransomware and directs organizations to the appropriate websites to report attacks. The resources include fact sheets, a comprehensive ransomware guide, webinar recordings, and links to threat identification and reduction services.

In May, President Joe Biden issued an executive order on improving the nation’s cybersecurity, citing the increase in cybersecurity attacks and calling for increased steps to tackle the threat of cybersecurity, including improved information sharing between the government and the private sector.

America’s Essential Hospitals has established a resource page on IT security for essential hospitals. Visit this page for new information and updates.
