Kaiser Permanente’s Community Benefit Endowment Scholarships for Members of America’s Essential Hospitals
Members of America’s Essential Hospitals enjoy access to Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) quality improvement education and the IHI Open School through tuition-only scholarships from the Kaiser Permanente National Community Benefit Endowment.
We encourage frontline staff, quality and safety professionals, nurses, physicians, medical and health professional students, leadership, and administrators to apply. A list of approved offerings is available here. Additional information on how to access complimentary IHI programming is available here. Please note these restrictions:
- All members may apply for any scholarship at any time during the year. However, scholarship funds are limited and awards are subject to availability of funds.
- Scholarship awards for IHI programming with safety net registration fees of more than $2,000 have annual per-hospital limits.
- Scholarship awards for IHI’s Annual National Forum on Quality Improvement in Health Care are limited to three recipients per hospital per year.
