Sharon Cross, LISW, of The Ohio State University (OSU) Wexner Medical Center’s Patient Experience Department, discussed strategies to overcome the challenges a hospital may face when implementing a patient and family advisors program.
OSU’s Cortney Forward shared her story of becoming an advisor and how the program has provided personal and professional growth, as well as a way to advocate for patient and family members.
