For the fourth year in a row, Bruce Siegel, MD, MPH, president and CEO of America’s Essential Hospitals, has been chosen as one of the nation’s 50 Most Influential Physician Executives and Leaders by editors and readers of Modern Healthcare magazine.
The award honors physicians working in the health care industry who are deemed by their peers and an expert panel to be the most influential in terms of demonstrating leadership and impact. Siegel placed 40th in a distinguished group of pubic- and private-sector leaders. Also recognized on the list are member leaders from America’s Essential Hospitals, including Ram Raju, president and CEO of New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, and William Conway, MD, executive vice president at Henry Ford Health System, in Detroit.
Modern Healthcare also has recognized Siegel among its “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare” in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014; and among the “Top 25 Minority Executives in Healthcare” in 2014.
