CMS Video, Association Resource Page Help with ICD-10 Prep

A new video from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) helps explain some frequently asked questions about the transition to the diagnosis and procedure codes in the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Releated Health Problems, 10th revision (ICD-10). The video clarifies common myths and misperceptions about changes that will occur with the implementation of ICD-10 on Oct. 1.

America’s Essential Hospitals has also compiled a list of resources to help members prepare for a seamless transition to ICD-10, including fact sheets, implementation guides, interactive guides, and more.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Beth Feldpush, DrPH, senior vice president of policy and advocacy, at bfeldpush@essentialhospitals.org or 202.585.0111.
