CDC to Host Training Webinars for Flu Vaccine Data Collection

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) invites facilities reporting health care personnel influenza vaccination summary data to attend training webinars occurring later this month. The webinars will cover the requirements for summary data collection and submission to the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). Registration is required and spots are limited. Webinars will also be recorded and uploaded to the NHSN website one to two weeks after they occur.

Acute Care Hospitals

  • Tuesday, Aug. 19: noon – 1 pm ET (1,000 participants)
  • Monday, Aug. 25: 2 – 3 pm ET (1,000 participants)

Ambulatory Surgery Centers

  • Monday, Aug. 18: noon – 1 pm ET (1,000 participants)
  • Wednesday, Aug. 27: 2 – 3 pm ET (1,000 participants)

Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities

  • Wednesday, Aug. 20: 1 – 2 pm ET (1,000 participants)

Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals

  • Thursday, Aug. 21: 2 – 3 pm ET (500 participants)
