The Office of Pharmacy Affairs (OPA) at the Health Resources and Services Administration will be notifying hospitals via email of the need to recertify for eligibility for the 340B Drug Pricing Program. Hospitals are required to recertify annually that they are compliant with all requirements of the 340B program. Failure to recertify will result in removal from the program. Hospitals should have the following information available to complete their recertification:
- most recently filed cost report worksheet E, part A, line 33 – allowable disproportionate share hospital (DSH) percentage
- employer ID number (EIN)
- the recertification user guide
OPA announced on its website that passwords for the recertification process were issued Aug. 6. Additionally, OPA has uploaded its June 26 recertification webinar to its website for public reference.
